About Us

Media Street, Inc. is a spin-off of Nation-Wide Plastics Company. Inc., a manufacturer, distributor and converter to the commercial printing industry for 38 years, with 5 strategically located facilities throughout the United States. As pre-press became automated, and proofing devices began imaging digitally, the need for high quality, hi-resolution digital imaging consumables began.

For one and half years prior to commercial launch, Media Street was in development of its specialty inkjet ink and media solution for producing long lasting digital prints, originally for commercial "proofing" applications.

In June of 2000, the company was purchased privately, by one of Nation-Wide’s owners, Norm Levy. In January of 2005, Michael Levy acquired 11% of the company. Today, Media Street designs, manufactures and sells, through Retail, the Award-Winning line of eMotion electronics. It also offers its acclaimed Generations Ink, Papers, Bulk Feed Systems and Digital Convergence Electronics to the Professional Photographer through its worldwide network of quality Photo Retailers. The Photo Retail channel is handled directly by Media Street's Sales Rep Force. For all Retail sales outside of the Photo Channel, Media Street has a growing line-up of Independent Sales Rep Organizations.

Media Street is known for the development of pigment inkjet ink. The development of Media Street's award winning Generations Ink allowed professional photographers, from any photographic discipline, to print images without worry of fading or premature color-shift.  As Media Street grew their professional business, and created less expensive alternatives for ANYONE to print professional-quality photographic prints, Media Street began to branch out and offer the home & office consumer ink, papers and bulk feed systems to not ONLY save a dramatic amount of money, but also SAVE our landfills at the same time. Media Street Niagara Bulk feed Systems eliminates the need to buy one-time-use cartridges. Simply buy bulk ink and pour it into the Niagara reservoir bottles as needed. Inkjet cartridges are not biodegradable and each cartridge takes approximately 2 ounces of oil to manufacture. Using Media Street inkjet solutions offers high quality, professional-grade output, at dramatic price savings... While being GREEN for our environment! Media Street has its own ink development lab and manufacturing facility strategically located adjacent to its own in-house paper converting facility. Media Street has state-of-the-art inkjet filling equipment machines that fill ink, under vacuum, at the exact dosage required per cartridge. Also on premises is an Atlas Suntest FadeOmeter XLS Machine to allow for internal lightstability testing. Norm Levy is an active member of the ISO Working Group 5- Task Group 3 Committee: Methods for Measuring the Stability of Color Pictoral Images.
